Cassandra
I Wish to Dance with Barbie!
Three-and-a-half-year-old, Cassandra has a lot of energy. When her wish granter met her, all Cassandra wanted to do was dance. She turned on her favorite video, “The Twelve Dancing Princesses” starring Barbie®, then twisted and twirled around the room. It was plain to see what Cassandra’s favorite wish would be—to dance with Barbie®.
Her wish granter contacted a local ballet company to ask if they would like to help make Cassandra’s dream come true. They were thrilled to participate and even had a ballerina who would be perfect to play the part of Barbie®. The stage was set for a very special wish.
The day of the performance, Cassandra and her family were picked up by a stretch limo and taken to the dance studio. Cassandra received a beautiful, pink leotard and tutu and matching shoes. She was ready for her performance. She joined the other ballerinas, leaping and twirling and dancing with Barbie®. She was overjoyed that Barbie® had chosen to dance with her. Cassandra was having so much fun that she did not want the performance to end.
Afterward, she and her family climbed back in the limo and headed to a party in honor of Cassandra’s performance. There they ate dinner and Cassandra opened gifts filled with Barbie® movies, dolls, blankets, a Barbie® bicycle, the Twelve Dancing Princesses Castle, a dancing Barbie® doll and much more. Cassandra also received a video tape of her performance, so she could remember the day forever. It was the wish of a lifetime for little Casssandra as she danced alongside Barbie®.
