Timothy
"I’m going to Disney World!”
Seven-year-old boys have a mind of their own. Timothy knew he wanted to go to Walt Disney World from the moment he learned he would be granted a wish. And he declared his wish in full Super Bowl MVP style, “I’m going to Disney World!”
Timothy also likes really fast rides. He wanted to ride all the fastest rides. Timothy and his family packed their bags and were headed off to Walt Disney World, to ride the rides and enjoy all that the “Happiest Place on Earth” had to offer!
By the time they arrived at Give Kids the World Village, a special place for wish kids and their families, the whole family was anxious to get started on their adventures. They didn’t waste a moment resting. It was off to the first park to ride those rides!
Timothy
With his special badge from Give Kids the World he didn’t have to wait in the long lines. He passed by the crowds and went straight to the front of the line. This was perfect because Timothy fit in lots more rides!
The next few days were a complete blur to Timothy’s family. Timothy led the group from one activity to another. There was never a dull moment.
After a week of fun, sun, parks, animals, dinners, and more, they indeed needed a rest. They will take with them many joyful and magical memories of Walt Disney World, Give Kids the World Village, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation®. Their lives were enriched with the hope, strength and joy that inspires each child whose wish is granted.
