I Wish for a Princess Party!

When Emily heard that she would be granted a wish her imagination began to soar. You see, Emily loved to watch all her Disney Movies and dress up like the princesses she saw on the screen. For her one-true wish, she could think of nothing more wonderful than to have a party with all her favorite princesses.

Before Emily left, her special wish granters wanted to celebrate a special day. Emily was turning five-years-old only days before she was off to Walt Disney World for fun and excitement. They called all of Emily’s family and friends to celebrate a send-off and birthday party for Princess Emily.

Emily loved her party. She sang songs, ate cake, and played with her friends and family. No one could deny the excitement that seemed to grow and glow from within Emily.

The next day Emily packed her bags, gathered her family and headed to Orlando, Florida for the wish of a lifetime. When Emily arrived at Give Kids the World Village, a special home-away-from-home for wish kids and their families, she was overwhelmed. There were so many things to do and so many things to see. How could she fit it all in?

She wanted to ride the Teacups, fly on the Dumbo ride, eat chocolate ice cream at the shop shaped like a banana split, see Shamu, and to meet every princess in the park. The other things on Emily’s list would have to wait, because the princesses were first!

Emily and her family spent seven full days on a journey through Walt Disney World. Emily didn’t want to leave. She had made so many new friends at Give Kids the World Village and all the Disney princesses practically knew her by name!

But Emily had to return to Texas and now she was filled with wonderful memories to last her a lifetime. Emily’s mother described the trip as a “dream come true.” Emily’s adventure showed her that dreams and wishes can and do come true.
