The Wishing Tower at night

The Wishing Tower - The Carreker Family Foundation
The Wishing Tower provides an interactive experience where children can make magical wishes in a setting that befits and celebrates the most precious of moments. When each wish child is ready to explore wishing opportunities, the child is asked to choose a favorite color on a touch panel outside the Wishing Tower. After a selection is made, the interior of the Wishing Tower begins to glow the chosen color from top to bottom. Once inside the Wishing Tower the wish child will follow the colorfully lit path to reveal a sitting area

I Wish to Go . . .
I Wish to Have . . .
I Wish to Be . . .
I Wish to Meet . . .

After all wish types are explored, the wish child holds a special star and announces which wish has been chosen. At that moment, the special star begins to glow to celebrate the making of a wish.

The Wish Presentation Hall - Employees of Zale Corporation
The Wish Presentation Hall serves as a place where wishes actually happen as well as a place for children's bon voyage parties and art parties.

In addition to its role as a place to make wishes come true, the Wish Presentation Hall provides a place for volunteer training, board and committee meetings, receptions and business conferences.

Joy Stage - Nina & Jerry Lee and Peggy & Howard Jennings
Inside the Wish Presentation Hall is the Joy Stage. The Joy Stage has many purposes: presentations, productions, movies and more. On the stage sits a piece of the Foundation's past, The Wishing Tree. The tree was is filled with wish kids' handprints placed lovingly over the years. Upon moving to The Wishing Place, helpful "lumberjacks" from Precept Builders transplanted the tree from our former office into our new home.

The Michael Monette Family Room - In Honor of Wish Kid Ocie
The Family Room is a place where wish families can relax and meet with wish granting volunteers. It is designed to be a warm, homey space with a fireplace, comfortable seating and a table where children can color, play, and begin to talk about their one true wish. Children's artwork is continuously displayed on a flat screen TV above the fireplace. A computer is available to research wish requests.

Wish Families can spend time in the Family Room outside of the wish process as well. Families are always welcome to watch movies, play video games or check email from home when they come to the DFW area for medical treatment.
